At ThomsonAdsett, we push the boundaries to design medium-density residences that delight developers, town planners and the people who live there.
Every site is unique, and we explore its full potential. We consider the intrinsic qualities of the site, making the most of the fall of the land and other natural features. We have found ways to give ocean views to every unit on a narrow water frontage. We have investigated prevailing weather conditions, and designed solutions that make spaces more liveable and cheaper to run.
We explore the full potential of a site to achieve maximum density for the developer. We have successfully provided 120 units on a site that would have yielded only 50, by challenging the existing zoning with a landmark building designed to harmonise with the surrounding environment. We actively work together with town planners and clients on emerging sites that are being incorporated into new town plans.
We have designed for international cultural variations, such as apartments that need to accommodate live-in help, and a different form of food preparation. We understand that high-rise apartments are actually homes in the sky, so we factor in a high degree of amenity, and find ways to reduce conflict between recreational facilities and vehicular traffic. At ThomsonAdsett, we work with location, zoning, culture and environment, to design creative solutions that maximise potential.
