ThomsonAdsett NSW merges with Glanville Architects

In what marks a new chapter for ThomsonAdsett in New South Wales, our Sydney office has recently merged with architectural practice Glanville Architects. The Sydney based firm is a known leader in school design and masterplanning and has over 33 years experience in New South Wales architecture.

A recent function hosted clients, consultants, staff and families and celebrated the coming together of the two firms at our new combined premises at Parramatta.

With seven offices across Australia and over 160 design professionals, Joint Group Managing Director Rob Adsett is excited about the opportunities for clients, present and future.

"The firm will draw on an ever-widening skill set from our diverse and experienced professionals and can be perfectly tailored to meet the needs of our client base," said Rob.

"We are growing our presence in each industry sector whether that is education, aged care, commercial or health. We are growing in our understanding of the issues that face our clients, the pressures on them, and we want to work with them closely, and yet still bring a broader, global perspective to everything we do."

Glanville Architects is now operating under the ThomsonAdsett name, with the combined Sydney office now located in larger premises at Parramatt, Sydney's regional centre.

"The merger with ThomsonAdsett presented a great opportunity to grow along with the market and continually improve the quality of services that we provide to our clients and community," says Charles Glanville, the newly appointed Managing Director of ThomsonAdsett New South Wales.

"The beauty of this partnership is that both firms see design as a way of enhancing people's lives and creating livable, sustainable places, and fostering new ways of learning and working."

"The combined teams increase our staff numbers in New South Wales to around 50, and the added strength and capacity this brings will allow us to tackle larger projects in new markets."

The combined entity will offer services in architecture, interior design, master planning, urban design, and heritage preservation to our ever expanding New South Wales client base. Regardless of industry sector, location or client need, the firm can match the right minds to find the right design solution and provide clients with the most sophisticated resources in communication and technology.
