The precinct has been designed to maintain flexibility to accommodate a variety of uses both formal and informal.

The Kingaroy Townhall & Forecourt precinct bares importance not only to Kingaroy, but also the wider South Burnett Regional area. It is intended that a renewal of the area will provide a civic space that appeals to all generations and reinvigorates a fading environment.

The maintenance of the existing facade retains the memories of the older generations, but provides a new modern face reflecting the growth and progression of the community. The renewal will provide attraction to younger generations who previously had no attachment to the civic space, and will hopefully create a meeting and public spaces that accommodates all ages.
