This highly visible Retail project is located in the master planned Portside Wharf precinct on the river's edge of Hamilton, Brisbane. The design had to respond to the social and urban context of the project while simultaneously integrating the desires of developer, tenant and customer into one seamless experience.

The concept behind the design of the kiosk challenges the notion of standard retail design, by maintaining visual connectivity through the structure and reinforcing the journey across the courtyard space towards the river.

The kiosk and shade structure integrate seamlessly into the Portside Development and the existing context. It acts to revitalise the central courtyard, with an expressed steel structure, sheet metal copper cladding, and recycled timer representing the traditional wharf motif.
